Microsoft Skype for Business Server

Microsoft Skype for Business Server is a real-time communications server software that provides the infrastructure for enterprise instant messaging, online meetings (audio, video and web), and calling over the internet (VoIP) via the Skype for Business Client and later on – via its successor Microsoft Teams. These functionalities can be used within a given organization, between organizations and external users on the public internet, or on standard phones. Skype for Business Server also offers valuable integrations with various Office communication components, such as Exchange Server and SharePoint Server.
